The Noah’s Ark Appeal was set up to build and support the very first Children’s Hospital for Wales. Following a hugely successful fundraising campaign the doors to phase one were opened in 2005 and the very first patient admitted. Many thousands of children have since been treated for medical conditions and cancer at this world-class hospital. Since then, the Noah’s Ark Appeal has campaigned to complete the Children’s Hospital for Wales so that children needing surgery can have the same facilities. This is finally about to happen. Now, the Noah’s Ark Appeal has launched a new £4m campaign to pay for the latest technology including an ‘open’ MRI scanner and vital equipment for the intensive and critical care patients.
